Hello Claire,
I know from past experience. I can see when I am digging that the root
go back under rocks too large for me to lift or move, up under the steps
along the path. I suppose, in a way, I am setting myself up for more of them
in he future. Now way to get them all out from under things. I enrich the
soil, fluff it up keep it watered well.... yes, they will be back. And I
hope to be there with a small spray bottle of brush killer to welcome their
little green noses.
Today was spent crawling around on my hand and knees pulling weeds from
the garden. Good for the soul, hard on old hands and knees.....
