Call your Cooperative Extension Office and ask for the perennial person.
There are cultivars of that plant that have some disease or virus- something
that took it off the market for a while. It may have been the purple leaved
plants, it was one of them. I recall that we avoided buying Cimicifuga for a
long time here.
