RE: dahlia question

Claire, I am only growing 18" dark purple leafed Dahlias that are good in
containers this year. 2 varieties are blooming - 'Fascination', a hot
fuchsia pink & 'Ellen Huston', a bright orange red. 1 variety isn't even
budding yet - 'Bishop of Llandaff', a single red. All 24 tubers were
planted to pots at the same time. They definitely march to their own
timetable.

I would like to see than answer to that question also, Isabelle.
I always put Dahlias in containers. I buy new ones every year as the size
is thing with me. They are never as described and since, I too, grow them in
containers, I don't want plants five feet high. I keep looking for shorter
plants.
