Claire, that's exactly right. Believe he was a biology teacher and just
preferred being alone in the garden compared to all those restless, noisy
kids. Once you get him to talk though he is a very nice, perhaps a Gary
Cooper type.
A few years back his nusery was across from the house and quite small
compared to his newer location down the street. A lot more work. I believe
just last year or the year before his son Jim started working with him. And
at times they have a young girl to water and spell Pam.
Is it all about the plants or is it all about the people?
