Re: Perennials--where are you?

Hello Kelly,
Perhaps everyone in out in the garden.... at least in the mornings... to
hot to be out there is the afternoons... whew!! I have been working on
removing weeds from my garden. It was either too wet or we were too busy to
get into the garden all spring, so the garden certainly is not looking its
best right now. Taking it one section at a time trying to remove every tiny
to big unwanted. Also cleaning out a few of the "more than I want" plants.
Sometimes you can have just too much of a good thing and some needs to be
removed.
I have also been working on a new section of my garden that is of decent
size, trying to transplant some new goodies to the garden under two dogwoods
I planted two years back. Lots of new hosta selected over the past year, new
ferns, ariseama, trillium, cimicifuga. Trying to think larger than in the
past when doing design... at least 6 to 8 of each in drifts unless it is a
large plant.
So what have you been up to in your garden??
