Gaultheria procumbens germination

Hello,

Anyone know about germinating gaultheria procumbens (wintergreen)? Do you need to chill
the seed, etc. I found a source for some seed at reasonable prices. I want to propagate
more of the wintergreen, but propagating by division seems rather limited and too slow a
process.
