Tom Clothier's seed germination database
http://tomclothier.hort.net/page03.html
says:
Sow at Max. 5:C (41:F), germ. irregular, often several months
Ontario Rock Garden Society also has a good germination database
http://webhome.idirect.com/~jehan/Information/orgsseedx.htm
and it says:
Sow @ 20C (68F). Seed germinates within 3 months. Pulpy coat
inhibits germination. Remove by soaking and rinsing in clean water
daily for 7 days.
When faced with this type of conflicting info. (happens all the
time), I split the seed and try it both ways to see what works
best:-)

Do you need to chill

I want to propagate
