Someone mentioned Liquid Nails earlier; I've had great success with GE
Silicon II caulk. Not messy at all, but it throws off an odor while curing
that wants the windows open. Spread some on the top of the bowling ball,
insert marbles, pennies, whatever, let cure, rotate, repeat. Great
entertainment during longer conference calls.
Had a mad fit yesterday with the fading daylily and knifophia stalks--hate
to cut them because I know they're feeding the plants; look ugly. Out comes
the blue spray paint. Problem solved, and I have a few weeks of real blue
in the garden to boot.
