Hey gang -
hope all of you are well. This past week, I was visiting my mother on
Cape Cod. She asked me if I recognized a volunteer that has shown up
all around her deck area.
I've tentatively id'd it as Epipactis helleborine , a non-native wild
orchid. But were the heck did it come from. She has at least 6 of
them scattered around her deck and this is the first time in 30+
years in the house they showed up.
Thoughts, hints
Thanks - I'm still gardening and am in the midst of a massive rework
of my longest bed.
