I live in Northern Kentucky right inbetween Zones 5/6. I have the
physostegia 'Vivid'. It is about 4 foot tall (and running helter skelter
through garden!) and has no signs of buds yet; however, it has been a cold,
wet spring which jumped into a 90 degree summer.
Normally, this plant will bloom in my garden starting in late July or early
August until frost (sometimes early October). I am anticipating a later
bloom period this year.
