Re: Flowering vine for shade

Hi, Chris, 

First off, sorry to email both to you and to the list, but for some 
reason, I do not seem to be able to get mail through to the list...it 
keeps coming back marked unable to send, or some such thing.  Anyway, I 
noticed that you mentioned akebia vine for the shade.  I have one, and 
love the leaves, but it has not bloomed.  I was wondering, when does it 
bloom, does it need to get established first, and will it bloom in a 
fairly dark location?  Also, do you cut it back in the fall, or just let 
it stay where it has grown to?

Thanks for any information about this.  Anything else you can tell me 
about it would be much appreciated, since, for some reason, I find it 
kind of difficult to find much information about it.
