Re: Aromatic Shade Plants

A lot of the Geranium species have scented foliage -- I especially like
Geranium cantagbriense 'Biokovo' and Geranium macrorrhizum.

I also use wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens), and have considered adding
pennyroyal for its minty scent.
