Chris, I am not sure where you are located. I am in zone 7(GA). One of my
favorites is Hummingbird clethra. Summersweet or clethra alnifolia
"Hummingbird". Smells so sweet grows in shade well.It gets waist high, white
spike blooms.Blooms for almost a month.Very easy to grow no bugs or
diseases. Looks great with astilbes and ferns and impatiants.
