Hi Monisha
I find it is best to keep your seedlings in a well lit position indoors
until they need potting up. When this is done then transfer them
to either cold frames or cloches outside with regular exposure to the
outdoor environment (just lift up the cloche plastic or raise the cold
frame lid daily) then gradually totally outdoors. I suppose it depends on
whether you get heaps of snow or frost and how far on in the season
you are before letting them out fully all the time.
The worst thing you can do is 'baby' your plants too long, after all,
weather
hardyed are stronger plants and will proberly survive better.
