actually ( SORRY im off topic of perrenials!) but if the spaces between the
concrete is filled in with various herbs like thyme or even chamomille (
assuming this isnt a very heavy traffic one, for the chammomile) or any
scented low growing herbs it looks very nice. In fact we have the cheapie
synthetic stones made from concrete for our stepping stone path.
