SEDUM, AUTUMN JOY

Hi 
My Sedum, Autumn Joy is beginning to get some color. The plants are
about 4 or 5 years old and are beginning to look like bushes.
I thought it was possible to do root division, but it looks like 
there is only 1 woody trunk. How does one divide this plant?
