Dear Isabella:
Try a few of your fledging seedlings in the open ground as well as a
protected area. You'll have lots of seedlings from your seed packets so
freely experiment. At times I've tried direct sowing, starting the
seeds indoor and either planting inground in the fall or overwintering
the small containers in a cold frame.
