To the person looking for seed for anemonopsis, I would suggest joining
NARGS, the North American Rock Garden Society. They have a yearly seed
exchange (usually before Xmas) with an enormous number of genera and
species to choose from. I can't remember if the last time I have the
seed list it included anemonopsis or not, but it's a possibility. I had
an anemonopsis in my former garden but was unable to locate it at the
time I moved some starts. It's a fine woodland plant--very nice in the
shade of a large oak and surrounded by ferns. I didn't grow it from
seed (I think I bought the plant from Nature's Garden in Oregon), but I
think they might be a little slow to germinate and to come into
flower... Try asking about this on the alpine-l list too.
