Re: Help looking for Anemonpsis


Some have had questions on this plant -so listed below is a drief description
of the plant.
Anemonopsis macrophylla is in the Ranunculaceae family. It is from Japan and
should be hardy through zone four.  It has bane beary like leaves with
pendulous (hanging) flowers that are light lilac to white.  the flowers are
waxy and are born on a long nodding stalk, giving the plant a nice airy
apperance when in flower.
The plant should be grown in shade in moist but not wet soil.+It blooms in
July and august.-

You might call it a cross bewteen bane beary (The leaves) and Epimedium (the
flowers some what).
