G'day, Kate --
I'm amazed at what the deer will eat - even Roses!!! I've seen hostas that
have been eaten down to nothing but nubs come back very quickly. In a month,
it should look very good again.
Have you (or anyone else??) heard of puttting a radio in the midst of your
edible ornamentals?? Turn the volume down so you can barely hear it & be sure
it is turned to an all-nite station. I've heard it really works from someone
who tunes his radio to a station that plays music interspersed with talking.
Am currently trying it with a battery-powered radio wrapped in a plastic bag.
So far, o.k. but the deer are sporadic & I haven't had it out long.
