Jeanne,
I always enjoy reading your posts. They are hilarious! Are you a writer?
But, I hate to say, my shastas are doing wonderfully. I have them planted
behind my two front yard hosta beds. I have them planted with red
impatiens growing around the shastas foliage and I have them planted with
red hot pokers. The one around the hostas and impatiens are doing
wonderfully because they get the most sun. The ones with the red hot pokers
are not doing as well because they get a limited amount of sun. I think
this fall I will move them.
Speaking of red hot pokers, when I planted them this spring, the spot got a
fair amount of sun. But, now that the trees have filled out, they are not
doing so well. They are growing, but slowly. I think I will move them to a
sunnier spot, but when can I move them? Now or wait until fall?
