How about some agressive dogs? Have a heart traps are useful, but then you
just have to move the critters elsewhere. Some people I know swear by a
gun--seems the only thing that is a sure deterrent. I'm not the violent
sort, but those pesky things can reak havoc and destroy the foundations of
houses.
I live with them with my two dogs which help keep them away from the house
and gardens.
