Re: pansies and violas
The head of horticulture at the local arboretum and botanical society here in
Dallas has told me that he's found that pansies can survive temperatures down
to 8F without any protection and without suffering any ill effects. Well, the
bloom may suffer for a while, but the plant itself will be fine. Below that,
he covers everything with remay. I'm in zone 8 here.
