L.cardinalis has green leaves.  L.cardinalis 'Queen Victoria' has the bronze
leaves and is not as hardy as the species.

If blooming now, you might have Lysmachia ciliata 'Firecracker'.  Very
similar to L. punctata in blooming colour but taller.
