<< G'day, Everyone --
Once again I'm hoping you all will give me the answer to my puzzle!!!
It's possibly yet another mislabeled plant!
Last summer, I planted a Lobelia Cardinalis; at least, I thot I did.
It's now blooming & is lovely!
But the flower is not Red, or pink or white!!
The blooms are a nice medium yellow!!!
The garden center I work on has 3 left which look exactly like mine.
But they have lost their nametags.
I would swear they had one earlier that said Lobelia Cardinalis!
Sooooo, does anyone have any idea of what I have??
And yes, they have all the typical reddish leaves. >>
Perhaps I should add:
What I have has 1" 5-petal flowers, bronzed green leaves & is 2 ft tall.
It does not have a flower spike like loosestrife.
I've looked through Taylors perennial book & stopped at a couple other garden
centers & turned up nothing at all similar.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
