Margaret,
I would think that the opposite would be true. I would want those bright
colors to perk up those dreary days (I lived there in a different life and
it can get dreary, but boy do you appreciate the sun). The pastels have a
cooling effect, so I would think that they would help tone down and cool off
the brightness of the sun. Just my opinion.
It's pouring here today and it's the bright colors I notice. The pastels
seem to fade away.
