Ann, B&D Lilies has the best selection of trumpets I've seen. Prices
are average to high. Their phone # is 360-385-1738 (Port Townsend, WA).
The sturdiest I've grown have been the Moonlight Strain (yellow with
chartreuse and greenish on the petal reverse - heavy fragrance) and
Summer Palace Strain (pale pinks with white & cream, delightful
fragrance). I have mixed results with some trumpets here -- they are
not as hardy as some other lily types, I believe, though I admit I
haven't tried heavy mulching. The Regales are very hardy and reliable --
I've had one clump for 6 years.
