I believe you, sir! I, on the other hand, would prefer to live deeper South
because most of the plants I am interested in are semi-tropicals. My main
focus is solanaceous plants..... especially the dreaded 'witches herbs'. My
favorites are the Brugmansia or 'tree daturas'.

A mid-nite flight? That I would be so bold! And foolhardy!
Yes, it is an eccentric plant with an incredible history and myth associated
with it. I don't mean to coddle just to insure that I provide the plant a
proper environment for its needs.
