Don't ever move over here then. Last week in Heather Hallworth's grass
(river bottom which floods in the spring) there were masses of HUGE
slugs in the AM. I've never seen so many at once. Luckily her gardens
are higher up near the house.
Here in Victoria we still get some but can control them by catching them
at night with a flashlight.
