Re: Brugmansias, Daturas, Acnistus?

Can brugmansias be grown as a summer bedding plant? Do they need to be
growing to overwinter or can they go dormant and then be carried over in
a cool, dark root cellar?

Your description of "Brugmansia hold their flowers trumpet down
(pendulous) and are tall. My B. 'Sunray' is pushing 7 ft from a cutting
off the mother plant this spring. Trumpets can be 12" plus. They
really make a statement!" is making me drool! I must have one next year!
