I have squirrels too. Luckily they don't bother most of my plants except
for taking a bite out of my Wolf River apples and ruining them. My
feeder is just about 4' from my window. Every now and then, I load up my
Super Shooter water pistol and let him have it. He leaps away and then
right back. I've gotten him soused a couple of times. My husband and
daughters think it's funny when mom goes 'gunning' for the squirrel. He
has now chewed a hole thru the lid of the large garbage barrel I put the
seed in for storage. I should have used a metal one!
