OK, Erik, I know it's late but I'm not tired enough to think that
Angel Trumpets should point down at Hell! I checked in the Logee's
catalogue and confirmed my belief that it was Brugmansias that point
down -- and they call them Angel's Trumpets! They also call Daturas
Angel Trumpets. Now of course Lucifer and company are *fallen*
angels so maybe that's why the trumpets cascade (fall) down? Then
again, angels with trumpets are represented in art in different
poses and one pose is to have the trumpet pointed down. And then
there's that old question about angels dancing on the head of a pin.
Seriously, thanks for the info you've posted to the list. I'm saving
it in anticipation of getting a brugie, maybe from a cutting. Do
you think it's too late now? I'm in northwest Georgia.
