This happens to a lot of us.  In fact I got a
gardener friend a ceramic sign you stick in the
ground that say "I forgot I planted that" for her
birthday at a local nursery.

Fits to a tea, doesn't it?

LOL.. this time it wasn't my fault.. New
Grandmother-in-law said, dig
this up, its pretty with daisylike flowers..
Hmm.. not even close, I
found a picture of Missouri primrose
(Oenothera missouriensis)<wow,
can't believe I actually looked that up!) that
looks close, but this
plant is over 3 feet tall and Oenothera
missouriensis is rather short..
it is some sort of evening blooming flower, they
have been flowering for
quite some time now (about 2 weeks) and smell
wonderful at dusk..
