They might be peacock glads, or Acidanthera.  I got some of those mislabled as
oriental lillies from White Flower Farms, so it can happen to anybody.  If
that is what they are, mine are 3-4 feet tall right now, and they won't bloom
for another month yet, if they bloom at the same time as last year.  They have
leaves that look very similar to other glads, particularly the smaller hardy
ones.  They are hardy, or at least all of mine returned from last year's mild
winter here in Memphis, zone 7.  They have indeterminate blooms, so they send
up blooms one after another for more than a month and are slightly and sweetly
fragrant.  Just a thought.
