Barb,
I think you may be right about the crocosmia. I looked it up and I am
very suspicious that my marching soldiers (plus one corn stalk) have
been identified. I will know for sure if and when they flower. The
bad news is that they are going to be orange! I really don't need any
more orange. Why couldn't they be a blazing red?
You will know more when I know more. I'm going to let the corn stick
around because it's better than a chain link fence at holding up my
floppy plants. Thanks for your wisdom.
