Obedient plant reminds me of loosestrife.  It's spiky and almost the same
shade of pink; however, it only blooms in the fall when the loosestrife
leaves off, so if you're looking to make a certain combination at a certain
bloom time, keep this in mind.

I have both plants.  I must say that I like the loosestrife better because
you don't need to stake it and it blooms forever.
