Re: slugs and Belamcanda

Well, thank you Don and Jaime and Chris, but I think it's highly unfair
that your plants aren't slug candy and mine are! 8=(

I have tried these in one of my sunny areas and dry soil and they seemed
most unhappy (and the slugs found them). Moved them to really woodsy soil
and part sun and they were unhappy and the slugs had a heyday. Put them in
pots and the slugs found them. Took remnants and put them in new border
with purple-leaf Heucheras (you know the one, Jaime) and slugs are lurking
in the stone wall and feasting away for all they're worth.

Ack!

However, quite good to find that you-all grow this plant in sun and dry
soil, will try that again with the surviving remnants - do you-all think
my sand bed (which seems relatively slug-free) would do?

And, Jaime, if these give up the ghost, I'll come begging! Thanks for the
offer.
