Filipendula rubra 'Venustra'

Dear Listmembers,

My filipendula, or Meadowsweet, is blooming now, but it is a sorry sight:
leaning toward the sun, crowded by its neighbors. The current location is
at the bottom of a steep slope that drops off to a creek, and was chosen
because it is sunny and moist. (It's the third home that the filipendulas
have had.) I really love these plants, and would like to do right by them.
Does anyone else out there grow filipendula rubra 'Venustra', and, if so,
where do you grow them? I am willing to make a new island bed just to
showcase these beauties, if necessary.
