A friend always picked up her basenji so that his head was above hers. I
told her and told her that that made him feel dominant. He nearly tore her
hand off the last time he bit her, and DH insisted they go to a pet anger
management session or three, and she finally quit hoisting him like that. I
don't think Wiley has bitten her for the past several months, either.
