I know we're getting way off the topic of perennials, but this is too interesting to
leave alone. I believe I read somewhere (here?) that perhaps using the "direct
application" approach around the corners of the garden might deter animal raids on
the veggies or other foliage. Could this be a remedy for those of you troubled by
deer? Now convince your husbands to go out at night and mark your territory.
