Hey all you gardening friends out there - if you are looking for a "funking"
blooming vine for your garden I think I know of one....my Aristolochia
gigantea (giant dutchman's pipe) is now blooming....one of the strangest
flowers I've seen.
There are these pouches hanging from the vine that are sorta limy green with
purple splotches that truely look like a Sherlock Holmes style pipe....then
they open up into these very strange whitish/green w/purple veining flat
flowers (I use the word flower loosely in this case) like I've never seen.
It is very strange but I think that it is a keeper----people will surely ask
you about this one.
Happy Gardening to all
