Hello Garden Wizards-
I have a 'Sun Gold' Buddleia that has been planted in the ground since early
Spring (March)....it was growing and blooming by leaps and bounds and now,
suddenly, it is beginning to die. Today I dug up this plant and it appears
that all of the mature roots have died - they easily break off and they are
hollow. I still have some new roots alive (white). What should I do? I've
now got the Buddleia in a pot and would very much like to save this plant. I
have seen a gopher or mole hole within 18" of this plant....could they be the
blame? Any help offered in saving my Buddleia would be very much appreciated.
