I wonder if we're having the same problem of sorts. We went away during
the nasty east coast heatwave and when we got back, the Buddleia "Black
Knight", which had been about 6' tall, was almost leaning over right
onto the ground. The root ball seems like it was just pulled out of the
ground. It seems healthy enough, but I can't get it back upright. It
seems very, very shallowly rooted. Is that normal?
