I have been to Bridgewood Gardens - they have a retail nursery in Annapolis, MD.  They are associated with Crownsville Nursery, which has a nice perennial catalog.  At Bridgewood they have hostas planted up a hillside and it is very impressive to see mature plants of so many different cultivars.  I liked the nursery, I think it was the owners who waited on us, and they were very nice.  I bought several hostas which are doing well, and I look forward to going back - we go to Annapolis occasionally to visit family and on this year's visit didn't have time to stop by there.  I don't have any experience with their mail order business.
