Hi all,
I regret to say that Roger Swain's info may be more up to date than mine. My
info came from Edward McCrae, _Lilies_, (1998 Timber Press). If Mr. Swain says
its on the rise, it probably is.
The lily beetle eats members of the lily genus, occasionally members of the
fritillaria genus,
and McCrae also sited Convalllaria (lily of the valley) Jack Elliot, who has
lived with them and
grows all sorts of bulbs, said almost entirely lilies, with an occasional
fritillaria. I will try to find out more from the North American Lily Society.
