Good Evening,
Hope you are all doing well.
Do any of you have any experience growing Trollius (common Globeflower)?
I planted a gallon-sized one 2 summers ago.
Didn't do much last summer.
Same this year. No blooms either.
Recently noticed some of the outer leaves beginning to turn slightly yellow
around the edges. I planted it in part shade, clay soil which I tried to
amend with compost and sand early this summer. I may have gotten too close
and damaged the roots. But I'm not sure if its getting enough moisture.
Looked it up in the Archives and see it listed in the Top 25 List and
Favorite Part Shade plants. Since its such a "winner," can some of you
comment on what type of growing conditions you have it in.
Thanks again for your help --
