I've have one that I got from my mother about 4 years ago. It's not doing
too badly considering that I don't have it planted in an ideal location.
I have it in a sunny spot in rich soil. Everything I've read says that
they like part shade and rich, moist soil.
Mine start to look ratty in July. I don't know if it's because of the
heat, sun, or not enough water, but they've always recovered in the spring.
