I am growing my Trollius in full sun, and rather sandy soil, with no
additional water at all. They get whatever falls as rain, and until the
latter half of June it was very dry here.
Mine bloomed quite well this year despite all this, but I have seen no signs
of them reseeding. Probably has something to do with the four inches of
mulch around them.
