If it's got white roots, that's a good sign.  I'd simply treat it as a
newly rooted cutting and keep it in that pot until it is able to replenish
its root system.  Depending on how tall it is, it might be a good idea to
cut it back some so those little roots don't have to work as hard - cut any
really wilted foliage off to either turgid foliage or a pair of good strong
buds.  Do not feed it until it shows signs of vigorous new growth and root
development - it won't be able to use it and it may hurt more than help. 
Keep shaded from strong sun and don't let it dry out, but don't keep it
soggy, either.

Sorry, but I really don't have a clue about why it's doing this - could be
so many things.
