Help! I seem to have pests chewing leaves of some of my perennials. When I inspected the damaged plants, I found small blackish caterpillar-like creatures, only much smaller. I've checked all of my plant books and have been looking on the Web but haven't yet found a match. I've also visited my local nursery with no success.
I also found a few slugs but don't think they're the major problem since some of the damage is pretty high up.
These critters seem to really like my delphiniums but they've also been eating phlox, anemones and many more.
Thanks!
